Did you see Ring 2 that just came out? I went to see it tonight and here are my impressions:
It wasn’t very scary, of course it had a couple of scares, but it’s mostly a suspense thriller rather than horror. That’s my opinion at least.
I found it interesting, the scenario explains lots of things that were left unexplained in the first one, and it’s like a totally new story, not just a sequel with the same things happening over and over again.I’m a fan of the Ring and of the Japanese Rings too, i’ve seen all 3 of those.
I know from the previous thread about the ring there are many anti-fans but many fans too. What is your opinion?Everyone thought it was a scary movie, but I didnt jump even once. I don’t see what all the fuss is when this movie should’nt even be classified as a “scary movie”. Maybe they rethought everything and came out with the ring 2? I mean a real scary movie is for example like “Saw” or “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. In my Opinion the ring isn’t a movie worth seeing, ( unless your friend is paying…. and thats a different story 😉 )

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is a remake from the original version in the 1970s or 1980s. I thought they were both scary…not like “boo! ahhh” scary but kinda made me jump a little out of my skin.
“Saw” was f’in scary too!
And “The Ring” was kinda scary, only b/c I went with a guy friend of mine who kept poking me and making me jump. But it was still a good movie!
