MemberMy parents are European and when I was younger mum used to make this weird stuff in a big bowl that consisted of some form of weird meat and enough garlic to feed a small country and then she would put it into the fridge to “set” and when it was ready it looked like a clear jello with big chunks of meat in it and we would eat it cold. Apparently I used to love it 😮

MemberThe weirdest food I’ve tasted is jello with ketchup (instead of whipped cream) on top. It was a party and we were blindfolded and then had to eat a mystery food. It doesn’t taste as bad as it sounds like though.
The weirdest drink I’ve tried is Coke with salt. It’s not that bad, the fizziness gets fizzier when the salt is in there……Mmmmm….Yummy……Not!

MemberI’m thinking cookie dough on a hamburger would be pretty good. I think ill try it. Hey ShadowSlayer did you put any topings on the hamburger first like musturd or catsup? Just trying to get the entire affect of it.

No, no toppings, just the bun, and the meat. Although, speaking of topings, I tryed katchup on cherios once, not bad! I also swallowed a small guppie(not fun), for $20. And recently I ate gum on the ground that had been in the mud, sat for two days, and had a few ants on it for a soda, I think that was last week.

MemberHmm, weirdest……….
Green turtle cooked in an open fire.
Camel cooked in camel milk and butter.
Crocodile stir fry with ginger and shallots.
Live honey ants.
Live hardwood grubs.
None of which are actually weird but simply a matter of geography.November 5, 2003 at 12:59 am #59338Dr Kimble
ParticipantThe weirdest thing I’ve ever eatin was shagoudia (itallian for dandylions). It was very bitter, but it’s good in salad.

shagoudia is a regular ( if that is its real name, here it is simply dandylion) salad vegetable, while bitter, it is a required taste and sadly missed when excluded from a salad.
If a salad is not an orchestra of flavours then why bother to eat it?November 6, 2003 at 8:24 pm #59337Dr Kimble
ParticipantQuote:quote:it is a required taste and sadly missed when excluded from a salad.I totally agree rustedtight, salad is blaa without it. I like the extra zing of flavor.
Okay, so if that wasn’t weird enough, then I guess the weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten was…chicken feet :pNovember 7, 2003 at 4:11 pm #59310rustedtight
MemberQuote:quote:then I guess the weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten was…chicken feetAhhh, you like asian food huh?

Ahhh, you like asian food huh?Yes. I will eat just about anything that is classified as food. That is why my major is Food[/b] Science. Here is a poem I wrote:
Food is important
Important is food
If you put it on my plate
It will get chewed.
Unless it kills me
Then you will get sued 🙂November 7, 2003 at 6:12 pm #59316detn8r
Participantcute.
I recently tried sea weed from my Korean Employer. I didnt like it at first, but in the end enjoyed it more than alot of Canadian food.
