Member😮 HI folks
Just wondered what people thought of the movie, I didn’t mind it, got a few jolts out of it, the classroom scene and the dorm room scene when her boyfriend wakes up, that was just creepy 🙂
All in all, not a bad movie but it kind of trailed off at the end.December 31, 2005 at 10:00 pm #135459DragonSlayerz
MemberThat Movie freaked me out even though I didn’t see it.

ParticipantI thought it was =horrible=. Yes…those are equal signs. That’s just how awful it was.
My roomate bought it and I’ve had to sit through it four times in three days while playing disgaea two feet away.
Spoilers coming up.
Anyway, these are the reasons why I hated it:
- The story telling was horrible
Okay, I’m all for exorcism movies. I think they’re creepy and fun…but really, starting at something as dry as the trial and then flashing back was a horrible idea. It made the story choppy and uninteresting. Honestly it seemed like they were taking commercial breaks in the movie with the trial.
- Length
As many people will tell you, length is VERY important. It all felt like they rushed and crammed all of this into just one movie. They would’ve almost been better making two separate movies, and really make it -complete-. I felt that the actual beginning of the posession needed a lot more focus and time and the exorsism as well, rather than the trial. I felt like I was watching a really badly done Law and Order!
- Actress
I’m sorry, I was not a fan of the lawyer actress. She felt fake to me.
Stuff I loved:
- The Scenes of the Posession were GREAT
I loved the fact that it wasn’t the jump startle scary either…it was the twisted, creepy, oh my god what is happening to that girl, grudge-girl-walking-doen-the-stairs creepy! The cinamatography was amazing and that actress should get a freaking emmy.
- That’s about it.
Not at all worth buying. Maybe good for a rental. *shrug*

MemberI rented it, I feel better only wasting 4 bucks instead of 20 🙂
It had its moments, but it doesn’t top The Exorcist. - The story telling was horrible
