ameoba: I won’t repeat the forum policies again… please see the above post in repsonse to dekker (who oddly enough uses the same avatar that you once did)… Please show some respect for this forums’ administration and for its members and follow the policies by not posting off topic, non content comments… As a moderator yourself, you should know better. By acting out as a member of a forum other than your own all you are doing is showing disrespect for this other forum… My post has nothing to do with you and yet you followed me here to flame me. Are you going to follow me to all of the forums on which I post in regards to Trillian? If so you might want to look up the definition of obsession… And lastly, as I told dekker, if you personally have a problem with me that is what PM’s are for. It is not fair of you to subject the entire membership of this forum to your personal problems. Please note, however, while PM’s with intelligent conversation or debate are welcome, flames will be ignored… I trust that you, as a moderator, know the difference.

My apologies to the administration of this forum for the off topic outburst of those who should know better. I sincerely hope that they will not continue to disrespect your forums. I know that I personally will choose to ignore them from here on out… Thanks

Hmmm… speaking of paranoia… dekker is clearly from the UK and you are not.. Why would I even think it was you, ameoba. I simply mentioned the avatar similarity because I noticed it. I wasn’t insinuating anything. I would have to be pretty stupid to do so since he/she is obviously not you… And, no, I’m not a staff member here, never claimed to be… Just pointed you, a fellow member, to the policies that we are all to abide by… As for reporting your post. I’m not quite sure how to do that…. I’ll have to look into it and then there will be no need to respond to you again… Good advice, thanks

Well how else can one respond Lana when your concerns have been repeadedly answered and yet you harp on with your tunnel vision.

There are no IM’s that give you a gurantee of interoperability, however the technical ability to cross communcate exists. The only way forward is to ditch the proprietary IM’s such as AIM,ICQ,MSN and move to Jabber if you want a really “Open” IM structure in the long term

Rustedtight may have seen or interpreted something that I missed, but at this point, I wouldn’t take it as a sign to change your posts.

I see no reason to flame Lana…the debate between her and Jeff was most entertaining! (and everyone behaved well )

What I don’t understand is rustedtight’s obsessive editing all over this thread, including my posts with no explaination…
