Not exactly. Even if you could transfer the names, because of the permission-based model Yahoo! has thankfully deployed, all your friends would have to be re-contacted for their permission for you to have them on your new buddy list.
I can get you closer, but it’s a might tedious.
Log into Yahoo, then link to
http://edit.yahoo.com/config/set_buddygrp?.src=&.bg=Friends
The html-based table that shows your friends can be selected, copied, and pasted into a text editor.
Log into the new Yahoo ID you want to transfer friends into
Repeatedly linking towill add the friend.
There’s nothing magic – these are merely the syntax & URLs that Yahoo uses to do the above. ‘Tis a pain, but it works.

Need more elaboration? (LOL – maybe even in ENGLISH this time?)
Or is it just too much of a bother to want to do it this way?
