ParticipantFor your first question: Yes you can send files. All you have to do is click on the send file icon in an IM.
And for your second one: You can become invisible only if you set your status to it, like in Yahoo, righ click, go to set status, click on invisible. And for MSN, choose appear offline etc…

ParticipantYeah, Chewy’s right. One Exception: You can’t send files through Yahoo on Trillian.
Now for a simplified version of Chewy’s post….To send a file:[/b]
> Open up a conversation window of the person you want to send a file to..
> At the top of the box – find an icon that resembles a white piece of paper..> Click it and find the file… etc etc.. you can figure out the rest.
To Appear Invisible:[/b]
(a.) The Logical Way….
> At the bottom of the main buddies list window.. look for 5 IM icons.
> Click on the icon that you want to appear offline on.
> Go to Set Status > And there should be an option called “Invisible” or “Appear Offline”; depending on what medium you’re wanting to appear invisible..(b.) The “Other” Way…
Create a new “AWAY” Message and select all the Mediums to be in an “Invisible” state.

MemberIf you go to preferences > Events and then click on the Advanced tab….there is a whole list of…events of course…that occur in trillian…..you can either add your own or change an existing one. im guessing that if you want to change the sound for when you receive a file….you should go to file transfer : pending event.
