Trillian/AIM contact list problem

I use both Trillian and AIM to connect to AOL. I want to keep 2 seperate contact lists on both of them. But after connecting/disconnecting with Trillian, then using AIM, the contacts on my Trillian merge with those on my AIM. This also happens vice versa, where my AIM contacts showup on Trillian.

Does anyone know how to stop the programs from loading the contacts from each other?, or do the contacts get uploaded to AOL or something, and download when I connect again.

In both cases the contacts list is held on AOL servers.
