Turning AIM off your phone

Hey guys I am new to this forum. Whenever I sign off of AIM on my computer I have it set up so I am always online but I just have that phone icon next to my name. This has really been bugging me the past few days and I just want to turn it off. I have been to the AIM site and looked everywhere and cant find a solution. Can someone please help me. Thank you.

If your signed on with your phone, I don’t think there is a way to get rid of the phone icon. =/

I can’t say for sure since I cannot remember, but my initial thought is that the 24/7 signed-on ability is done by attaching your cell phone number to your screen name. If you want to detach your phone, give this thread a quick glance:
