MemberIs there a program to have two yahoo messengers running on the same computer each under a different name? AIM has one. I was just wondering.

MemberWe have two threads running here on the same topic.
Maybe one of these two should be locked, and all posts directed into the same one?
It’s just confusing having to juggle between the two.

MemberYou need to make sure you have the right patch for the right version. Not only like Yahoo! Messenger v5 or v6, but also some patches only work on certain builds. Go to Help/About Yahoo! Messenger and you will see which build you have. You can use something called “Y! Multi-Gold Loader” and it wil create a new shortcut on your desktop that says Y!Multi Gold and it’s like a clone of Yahoo! Messenger, so you can log in a different ID. The thing is, the one I use is for build v6,0,0,1671. Which I still use, but by now it’s probably a way higher build. If you want to get the one I use, you can download it here.
If your build is different, I guess search the web for Y!Multi Gold (build #).
At least that works for me. Peace
