i was wondering if some one can help me here
is it possible to have two yahoo messengers open with different usernames on one computer?
i mean how can someone that has two yahoo IDs open two different yahoo messengers for each of his IDs

thnxI know someone who’s been able to do it by having Messenger and Yahelite, which are two different versions of the same program, running simulataneously. Other than that, I know of no way it can be done.
there are polygamy patches for yahoo messenger on some sites like there are for msn messenger , but none of them worked for me . you can try them , or you can use trillian to sign in with one account and yahoo with the other id . tht will work for sure 😀
Or it can be done using premade – homemade clients instead of through messenger itself. If you can program and know how to make your own client or client/server combo you don’t need meesanger.

or there is one more method.
delete all the shortcuts of messanger and copy the folder in which the messanger is installed to another place. after copy to another place then rename the ypager to any other name. then run thatYou can get a patch to run as many messengers open on your screen as you want at:

It works with the latest build of yahoo messenger!!
This works great. But there are few issues. I tried messaging between the two instances and message from one instance is lost. It works with others users too, message sent by one instance does not reach the users even though it appears online. Can anyone help ?
Hi Guys
Im new to this, the reason im replying is because i tried downloading that patch but when i try to install it it wont work. I downloaded the file then unzipped it and clicked on the exe. Then some little window comes up that has a picture that says acidx on it, and the instruction is to drag the exe over the picture and it will be patched but everytime i do that i get an error messaege that says Incorrect/patched file. Can someone let me know if im doing the wrong thing or give me instructions on how to use the patch please. I know i must sound like a dummy, sorry, but i would really love some help, if anyone could back to me asap please let me know.
