I saw an ad for it in the Messenger chat room window. The ad says it’s coming in 2004. Could this be the new, improved Messenger we’ve all been hoping for? Does anyone have any ideas or information?
Never heard of it. A brief search via Google came up with a bunch of near-misses, but nothing concrete.
Maybe someone else knows what the heck it is?

I think i read abt Uber chat on Chet Simpson site – http://www.ytunnelpro.com . I think its one of his future babies….like ytunnel.So it is. From reading his UberChat FAQ, it looks like he’s creating an entirely new chat network. This isn’t just a client application for chatting on Yahoo or another network, but a whole new thing.
The downside to something like this is that it’s one more program… one more screen name… one more thing I have to remember. In my opinion, that’s what’s great about the MSN/AIM/Yahoo chat rooms; they don’t require anything “extra” for you to use them, and there’s a good chance your friends will already be on there.
