Ultimate Soccer Manager 98/99 will not work on Windows XP. I have tried it in compatibility mode, and as far as I am aware, there is no Windows XP Patch avaliable for the game, any ideas anyone?
‘will not work’?
Do you get an error or something? Please provide more information if you want help.
Ah sorry. Well, after installation, several attempts to run game, it kept crashing to the desktop just after the introductory video. So i thought it wass potentially a graphics problem, I checked my graphics card, (GEFORCEMX 440), and everything was fine with that. So I tried running the game in all compatibility modes that were avaliable, the game then ran, but was split up onscreen. Like I got half a screen of the welcome screen, then a big black line down the middle, then the other half of the welcome screen. Its confusing I know, but I can’t really put it any blunter than that. I’ve tried uninstalling – reinstalling too.
Try going into regedit (Start->Run->Regedit) and search for keys with Ultimate Soccer Manager in their titles and delete them. Sometimes keys get leftover and can cause problems when re-installing. But remember, dont delete anything your not sure is related to Ultimate Soccer Manager.
