ok im new in here (great site btw), and besides i dont know english very well but i will try to explain myself the best i can.
ok if you dl yahoo msn from.. the us page for example, you dl the english version right? but when you try to get to chat rooms you only can acces the us rooms.
im from central america and in order to go to the regional spanish chats (mexico, argentina, etc) i need to get the mexico or other spanish country version of ymsn in order to get there.
with some progs like yahelite and yazaak you can chose the region, i havent seen this option on the ymsn, so basically im asking how i can get to another regions chat rooms using the us version of ymsn.
there is an option or something that i can change in order to do this? thanks in advance for your help.Type the /join (roomname) command into the box where you normally post a chatroom message when you are using yahoo messenger(american version)
example would be
/join Deportes extremos:1 (hit enter)this should bring you straight to Deportes extremos:1 (Argentina room) just an example
If you don’t know the international room names you want to go to there is a program called YahRool http://www.helpbytes.co.uk/yahrools/default.htm which gathers the international room lists or you could use yahelite or yazak to get the room names either,I don’t know about the setup on yazak too well,but on yahelite roomlist screen at the bottom left it says “to clipboard”,when you have selected the international room you want to go to-highlight it and click to clipboard find somewhere on you computer to paste the room name,I normally use a text file,or wordpad,and paste in there.
One other thing I forgot to mention in the example room above I deleted the full extension on the room Deportes extremos:1 ,the full room I copied from yahelite roomlist was Deportes extremos:1::1609535631 so I deleted ::1609535631 and used only Deportes extremos:1
If you get room error messages try deleting the extentions and try again,
