So for the last couple days Id run Yahoo messenger all day NO problem. But come around night time when all these “server errors” were happening I could usually get on but the weird thing is I dont see people signing in our signing out. Like my friend messaged me and it showed them as offline and I said oh are you invisable? and she said no..im currently online. So I decided to test for myself with my other account using trillan and sure enough I dont see peole log in or out unless I close yahoo and restart it. I cant see if they set there status to busy or if they go idle or anything like that. If I use trillian I do see the changes but I hate using Trillian since I cant use voice chat through yahoo…is this problem due to the whole WLM intergration and the server issues?
Probably. People have been having a lot of login problems lately (including myself), however I haven’t experienced your exact problem (probably because I don’t chat much). I spend more time trying to figure out how I can modify Yahoo! than actually using it. lol.
I would imagine the problems are due to the intregation of both services.
yahoo! will not be the best until it has ironed out al the issues between each clients functions on their networks.
If you’re using Yahoo messenger beta i suggest using the feedback form to report all issues you may have, helping yahoo understand many bugs helps them to target them specific problems as quick as possible.
