I’m trying to conduct a video conversation on MSN messenger from Taiwan to USA. Everything worked great in the states, but now I’m not having any luck. I’m using a high speed connection on both ends. My connection is at a Hotel (could be the problem??) Both computers are updated to SP2 and MSN Mess 7.5. There are no problems sending IM or sharing photos. Cameras are working on both computers, it just won’t connect after the invitation is accepted. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks.
Lost in Taiwan
Hello, Kilpateye: I returned to Canada (from the U.K.) for the Holidays and found the same thing. Mysteriously as well, each night, precisely at midnight U.K. time, my chat partners msn boots him. Every night at the stroke of midnight 🙂 We’ve tried six ways to Sunday to fix the mic problem; even d/loading an earlier v. of msn; but it didn’t work. What I was left with was to use msn for cam and logged into googletalk for mic. A bit of a pain, but it works fine.
