I Have actually met quite a few online friends in person…most of which turned out to be alright. Though of course, there were some I wished I had never met..but that won’t stop me from meeting more online friends. 😀
I have. It was the best thing I ever did. There’s no doubt we were meant for each other, we never would have met otherwise, and we’ve had two children together and we’re getting married on 14 feb next year
I have not yet met any online friends, however, I have met a person that Has asked if we can meet, and I have been thinking about meeting with them.
LadyJ;)I have met someone that I talked to online and she lives where I live, but we never met for about 4 months. We finally met about a month ago and we are going out for over a month. So see it actually works sometimes…..:)
Actually my girlfriend was a “chat only” friend. but we agreed to meet up and now we have been together for almost 8 months, so meeting up isn’t always a bad thing.
Met my husband online, 10 years of marriage and I haven’t killed him yet, so I guess its a good thing :).
I’ve had two very bad experiences and am now very leery of meeting people. Although I must agree with MerryOne, “Though of course, there were some I wished I had never met..but that won’t stop me from meeting more online friends”, …cautiously of course! 😉
i am on the verge of meeting one online friend for sure…she’s going to come see me at work sometime very soon! 😀
But there was a setback to meeting online people in person…. You have them call you and then the meeting is set up… I had a bad encounter that my friends still make fun of me for… The only good side to it was that I only had to endure three hours of torture….
