MemberMy AVG detected Trojan horse dialer.8.bl virus. The problem is the virus cannot be healed and the infected file (svchost.exe) cannot be removed by AVG, maybe because it’s in windows system. How to clean the virus? What kind of damage that virus can do?

MemberFrom the sound of it, the virus sounds like it has the potential to allow serious damage to occur to your system. If you want to find out more about the virus (and I would recommend this before deciding what action to take) you could go to http://www.symantec.co.uk and click on the search link to the left.
Then type in the name of the virus that AVG finds, see what the search result is, and with it there should be a virus report informing you on the potential damage that could be caused, and how to remove the virus. I know you don’t have Norton Antivirus, but you should still be able to access the virus reports.
As a last resort, you could format the PC to get rid of it, but seriously, that is a very last resort.
Hope that helps.

Keymaster1) Download and run SPY SWEEPER (Make sure to update the def’s once you run it for the first time) ** DO NOT SCAN YET!! ** Close the program after updating the def’s…
THEN…….
2) Boot up in safe mode (That dialer thing wont be running) AND DO A SCAN WITH SPY SWEEPER (Goto OPTIONS first and make sure SWEEP REGISTRY,SWEEP MEMORY,SCAN ALL ACCOUNTS AND SWEEP ALL FOLDERS IS CHECKED (AND SCAN PRIORITY ”HIGH”) Then do a scan…..
This should clear your computer of that dialer program……….
You could also get XCLEANER and run its small little adware scanner (To catch any missed items spy sweeper missed (PROBABLY NONE))
I think Spy Sweeper is the BEST spy remover out there, and I primary use XCLEANER to DELETE FILES PERMANTLY (The shredder on this is unreal,it cuts the header from the file, making it TOTALLY unrecoverable)
Good Luck My friend

Memberpearl: Are you sure thats the exact name of the virus? I went to find some information on it and grisoft doesn’t return any results. Post the exact name your scanner reports.
Edit: You could also try booting into safe mode by tapping F8 until the boot menu is displayed. Then run the scan again and it should be able to remove it since it won’t be in use. You might need a replacement svchost.exe too, if its overwritten your old one.
