Yeah, you’ve got a pretty flawed poll here. You left out programs like DeadAIM and Otsego, but included Trillian and GAIM, which aren’t actually AIM addons.

No, they are third party clients. An add-on takes the existing AIM program and modifies it. You’re still using AIM with DeadAIM, AIMutation, middle_man, etc. Trillian, on the other hand, accesses the AIM servers but is an entirely seperate program.
I’ve edited the poll, removing Trillian and GAIM and replacing them with Otsego and DeadAIM. Happy voting! 🙂

I’m not a real big IM geek, and I use DeadAIM and it gives me no trouble. I don’t need all these programs for IM.
I said smiles, cause smiles are a pain in the butt.

Yeah I 100% agree with chicken M:M is BY FAR the best program out there. I’ve used dead aim, middleman, aiMutation,AIMutation, Palfun, and M:M and Maurizio’s prgroam kicks the crap out of all of the others.
LOL. I’d really like to know the person’s reasoning behind voting for Smilez, so please speak up…only if it’s legitimate of course, it’ll be a waste of time to read something like “it doesn’t work” (meaning you forgot to download and use the installer) or “I don’t need tabbed windows or smile sets”. I’m looking for a problem with the program, not something pointless or out of spite.
Also, I thought you had to pay for M:M, so did the person who voted against that have a non-applicable reason like “it costs money” or did you pay for it and dislike its function?
It’s my understanding that the poll is for the worst add-on/plugin, not “most expensive” or “most practical”. I’m thinking this is more of a “worst” poll, like “this one crashes all the time” or “this function has never worked for me” or “doesn’t work with 5.9”.
