Cheers Gaz, but surely the cam manufacturer will only take responsibility for the cam being fully functional in Windows?? I dunno, ill try both!

No daz yahoo uses windows which logitech uses so there really should not be any problems

i have logitech quick cam too.. and it hasnt given me any problems whatsoever.. maybe its some xp thing..

I had the same problen (XP Home and Logiteck cam)
I solved the problem with a Yahoo recomended Registry Edit

Dumb question but how did you unistall your Service pack? I’m having the same problem only I have a creative labs camera. Is it the same as unistalling all those SP1 hotfixes?
