MemberI love it when I find a web page that allows you to build a descent website. When I found http://www.expage.com I was thrilled, but it restricts the amount of characters on your site. When I finally tweaked my site within the limit, I was going to ad a few pictures, but no they don’t support pictures. I was disappointed. I sent expage a letter on if they were going to change their limits, but no response. So I’m going to change hosts. I was wondering if you could supply me a hosting service that is free and gives you a little breathing room to grow as a site and eventually pay for services. Thanks for your help!

ParticipantI take it you’re not a big fan of creating your own HTML, PHP, ASP or any other web-related language, RIGHT?
Are you looking for a website that provides pre-defined layouts? Or are you just looking for a decent webspace provider?

MemberThere are tons that let you make webpages off their pre-defined templates/layouts.
Search Google, you might also want to try http://www.angelfire.com

Memberhttp://geocities.yahoo.com/ is a real nice free site…It gives you 15mb for free (last I checked at least) and supports html. It also has an ok site builder for beginners. I’d definitly use this over expage (ick!)…but there are some better free sites out there that have a few more features.

Participantor, if you are willing to enter your own html codes etc, your ISP usually offers web space for free, up to a limit.

MemberYeah, very true. The only thing is, A lot of ISPs don’t give as much space as free services like geocities. I know mine only gives 5mb. But I’ve also seen some that give 25mb with your account. So I guess it just depends.

MemberTry Tripod. I’ve created several websites there and you can have lots of photos and add sounds. Its super simple and you can either use the html or template version.
