Looks like the “Website News” forum is integrated into the mainpage layout which is causing the forum background to have lots of whitespace because of the wrong stylesheet I’m guessing.
The ‘website news’ board provides the content for the mainpage, it is intentional (iirc) that it use that stylesheet.
Can you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing? I’ve attached a screenshot that shows what I see, which is how it’s supposed to look. Click the thumbnail to see the full-size version.
