this is the only place where i think i can get legitimate feedback on this error, the problem is, in the IM window, instead of showing me my buddy’s weemee it says “To see this WeeMee immersive wallpaper you need teh lastest verion of Adobe Flash Player” ok, well i downloaded and installed it and reloaded aim and still nothing, and then i did some other research and found i need to install viewpoint media player, so i downloaded that and installed it, and still nothing. any help would be greatly appreciated cos this is really frustrating
Did you try clearing your caches?
Try clearing your IE cache via the Windows Internet control panel.
Also, AIM 6 has an expressions cache as well located at:
C:Documents and SettingsINSERTYOURWINDOWSLOGINIDEHEREApplication Dataacccorecaches
delete the “bart” folder in there.

that doesn’t work.
what does work is:
1. set your default browser to internet explorer (i am not sure if this step is needed, but i did it to fix my aim)
2. install flash in internet explorer

3. restart aim
4. set firefox as your default browser (install it if you don’t have it)

5. remove the ads in aim
