Hi I read that yahoo has made it so that supermode is automatic in the new versions of messenger, so it doesnt say supermode is on at the bottom of the cam window anymore, but I have a problem…
For the last month or so, no ones supercam goes fast anymore… Its always at 3fps… Even when the statistics say it has connected in peer-to-peer mode instead of server mode…
It used to always go to around 10fps in supermode… I haven’t changed anything, all my firewalls are open, ports are open etc… What has yahoo changed?
Are both parties on Broadband?
Does it not say you’re on supermode?
it hasnt been working for me either . Both of us are on broadband and cameras are both set for fastest speed rather than quality . both have default yahoo settings , no proxys all that . used to work but doesnt anylonger .does say peer to peer mode in statistics . does it still work for anyone ?
Yes I am on broadband, the new version of messenger does not say whether it is on supermode or not, they got rid of that text… you can check by seeing if it says ‘peer2peer’ in statistics menu… which it does..
I have the same problem as geetarplyr….
One day it just stopped working without me changing anything on my end, or the other parties end….
so , is supermode gone ? Does it still work for anyone ?
Its probably temporarily disabled.
