What I'd Like to See in Yahoo IM

I’m sure the list will grow, but I wish there was an option to appear invisible/away/DND to individual users on my buddy list. I remember ICQ having this function and it was great. Maybe this is already an option in Yahoo and I’m just overlooking it.

I’d also like an option for Yahoo to do my job for me and me get all the credit, but I don’t think that will happen until build 8,022.13b.

I’d like to see a “knock” feature on Messenger like the one on Yahelite that repeatedly tries to enter a full chat room until the user is able to get in.

Both ends of the buddy list~ http rejection ( no links unless you allow from friends, NO invites* conference or otherwise if you have invites off! and of course…. better intergration.. trillian is nice. but……. being able to use yahoo and pm to aol or icq would be heaven!!

You know when you accidentaly click on someone’s webcam when you wanna see their profile (oh come on! WHo hasnt this happened to?) and then it just opens their webcam without any option of cancelling it, so you end up looking like a creepy weirdo that tries to see webcams of complete strangers who dont even have their webcam sign on?? Well, I would like an option where it says “see webcam or not” and you can click on not. OR at the very least when the yahoo condition of webcam watching comes on “Yahoo isn’t responsible for the contents of webcams” for there to be an option of “I agree” or “I dont agree”. Right now, you can close the window and webcam still comes on!

PS. Nhyrvana, are you the same Nhyrvana as the website? Thats a cool site 🙂

and btw YES! they give the alert ONCE ~ if your lucky.. then you say never show me again.. and ya do end up seeing more than you want!!
yahoo will never be perfect 🙁
i just want the invites all off.. i HATE getting the cam and conferance invites from the weirdos…. have set to friends only.. but that doesnt stop cam or voice invites.. grrrrr

I will be very thankfull if yahoo removes doing advertisment in the chat room because it is too iritating when they cover the whole area for chat and there is no option to minimise them.
