MemberJapanese food is with out a doubt my all time favorite food ever. I love it, all types of it. Granted some times it is a little freaking when eating it but I still just try it. All the textures and blends of flavor works so well when you are dealing with an experience Japanese chef. Of course I guess you can say that about everything else also.
I have tried Indian food, and I like it pretty good, not my favorite or anything, and where I live the indian restaurants are not that great, so I do not eat it unless I go back to my where I am orginally from (outside of Philadelphia.). I do enjoy traditional Mexican food a lot also, the only problem I have with it is, at least around here, it is pretty much all the same thing. No matter what you get it is going to have: Tomatoes, Lettuce, Cheese, some sort of beans (usually) and tortia. And is just a different combonation on it for each different dish.
I like pretty much any culture’s food. No matter what culture I have tried i have always found at least 3-4 things I liked out of the menu. Have to learn to like different types off foods when you are training to be a chef.

ParticipantI’d have to say after having a Korean employer, that my favorite would have to be Korean. Kim Chee soup, and a side of sea weed is freakin awesome.

MemberI like couscous…but I also love Paella (thanks to my husband) and I love Masala and I love Risotto…oh yeah, and I love Sushi and I love Saurkraut…I just love most ethinc foods and as long as they’re not too odd I’ll try almost anything. I think you can really learn a lot about other cultures by not only trying their food…but trying to make it (as they do traditionally) as well. mmmm now I’m hungry!!
