I would love to be able to chat with Latvians, Russians, Ukrainians, etc. and Yahoo really seems to be one of the best chat programs… unfortunately i cannot find any way to get into an Eastern European chat room. If anyone knows how or can point me to another chat program or site where I can meet people from East Europe, please let me know. I really appreciate it.

A far as i know there is no Russian or Eastern European chatroom on yahoo at the moment (maybe you’ll be able to find one under the Asia category).
ICQ has special chatrooms for eastern europe tho, maybe it’s worth trying that out (– ICQ Chat Rooms – ICQ.com.Maybe others know more, good luck. 🙂

If you include voice chat, I’d suggest Chat Rooms at Paltalk | Live Online Chat Community which has a lot of rooms devoted to specific countries.
Or Skype – internet calls – download Skype free now – free calls – official website while not having rooms as such does have a wide European user base, and facility to search for users by country etc, so you might find some there.
