http://home.bresnan.net/~vagabond35/ Custom emotes, smileys, directions on making your own
emotes, the original smileys if you want to get rid of naughty ones.August 7, 2003 at 3:44 am #68015snugleupagainst
MemberVery nice Vagabond35! I had a look around, keep up the helpful work your doing.
I feel your site http://home.bresnan.net/~vagabond35/ makes it very simple to find emote answers.August 7, 2003 at 9:07 pm #68035aikdin_20

Aikdin did you read thru this whole thread? The answer is given in many of the post. The easiest is here >> http://www.freddys-utilities.co.uk/emotions
As Freddy said:
Quote:quote: I put together this program, this makes it simpler to edit/add emotes, it just loioks like the emote editor in say yahelite or cheeta, rather than having to edit a plain text file and make no mistakes:http://www.freddys-utilities.co.uk/emotions
I also put together this page, so that people could share emotion files, i.e. if you have your own you can upload, and you can also download others, its real time, i dont preview content, there have been many downloads, but not many uploads (as in only I did so)
Now you typed emoticons if you truely meant emoticons then thats smileys and Freddy covered that too:

MemberI don’t know what the copyright conditions on the smileys are, but if you could use them, they could replace existing smileys.
The thing to remember is ONLY YOU see the changes unless you send the files to a friend too.
My page explains how to customise as shifter posted above.

MemberI love Emotes, I have created a bunch of my own, and downloaded almost a thousand. I’m thinking about uploading some of mine to Freddy’s site, and possibly making a page for it on my site.

MemberThat’s not appropriate to this thread;)
Use one Yahoo! Messenger, and multiple instances of other clients (chat2.0,java,3rd party) etc… on different IDs. You can only run one instance of Yahoo! Messenger.
