September 8, 2003 at 7:40 am #59499YorchMemberIn Mexico the most used IM is MSN, in fact it is so used that nobody ask if you are in MSN, Yahoo! or AIM we just asumed that is MSN
September 8, 2003 at 2:18 pm #59476detn8rParticipantI would probably say MSN is the most popular IM client in Ontario, if not Canada. I couldnt say AIM, becuse the only reason thats so popular is because its embeded with AOL.
September 8, 2003 at 4:17 pm #59497lmpossibleMemberI use Yahoo, MSN and AIM but I use and like yahoo the most. AIM is definately the most boring in terms of their crappy smilies.
September 21, 2003 at 12:09 pm #59477FrutZleMemberMSN is on all the time, whether I’m at work or at home. I turn Yahoo on only when there’s nobody on MSN or if I want to have a webcam chat with my girl (we can’t have both our cams on using MSN, so I turn mine on on Yahoo and she has hers on on MSN).

You can both have your webcams on at the same time, it’s just that you press the BIG button at the top to invite someone to view your webcam, and you press that little button next to the email to view their webcam. 🙂
It works perfectly fine for me….
EDIT: Sorry, I did not see the date of the last post

December 6, 2003 at 1:10 pm #59502Eric_VR-4MemberI think whatever you are used to is what seems easiest.. I like yahoo.
Got a NOOB question for ya though, in factthis is why I came to this site. Isn’t there an IM software that would let you use all the major IM’s? seriously.. I would think this could be done… perhaps I’m not thinking fully.. but it sure would be nice to have ONE that worked for all messenger services.. you sign into it.. and you are on all of tham at once. Anything like that?December 6, 2003 at 3:16 pm #59500popolony2kMemberOk…MSN, ICQ, Yahoo or AIM, don’t matter….All protocols works better when you’re using PlanetaMessenger.org Universal Java Messenger.

April 20, 2004 at 4:31 am #59484DavidParticipantTrillian – How can you beat AIM, MSN Yahoo, ICQ and IRC in a single client? And hell, if you don’t like the GUI – skin it!
April 20, 2004 at 9:38 am #59505doc rockMemberI use Yahoo more than either MSN or ICQ….but if IRC got voice I would probably go there.
