MemberWell I don’t know if you can consider this from scratch, but here I go. I learned this from an Italian friend, so this is authentically Italian. You want to buy Barilla spaghetti, that’s the best. I personally prefer it cooked “al dente”, the back of the box will tell you how many minutes it requires. The sauce is very simple. Get a can or two, depending on how much sauce you want, of Petite Diced Tomatoes, Hunts carries a very good product. Dice onions, and green peppers. In a pan, pour extra virgin olive oil, water, the tomatoes, onions and green peppers. pour also a little bit of sugar to kill the sourness of the tomatoes, trust me!!! Cook the spaghetti, and the sauce separately. you will cook the sauce until the onions and peppers are soft, in low or med-low so you won’t burn it. if you see that its a little dry and the onions and peppers still are not soft pour more water, it won’t change the taste. Then take the spaghetti out, spill the water in the spaghetti, and when the sauce is done pour it on top of the spaghetti and stir. This sauce will not turn like Ragu or any other, so don’t expect that. But it is certainly delicious!!! If you want an authentic desert and don’t know how to make Tiramisu, but have authentic Italian Coffee-Illy is the best-, just make some. Get vanilla ice cream, serve it in a cup, and pour the hot coffee on top if it, the amount that you would make yourself to drink. It sounds weird, I know, but trust me it’s the most delicious italian desert that I have tasted!!! Good Luck!!!

MemberI invented this myself, but believe me it tastes really very nice..
Get half an onion, chop it and fry it untill its golden brown in 2 table spoons of oil, any oil. Then get chilli powder, salt, and some other indian spices and herbs. Mix them with one cup of water, and put them in frying onions. They will get a big steam, so make sure your face is out of the way! then get 12 tomatoes, peal them and grind them or chop them in a chopper! Put the paste in the gravy thingi we made with onions etc, cook it on medium heat untill it all looks like ketchup. Put some brown sauce in. And some viniger. Cook i for 2 more minutes. Now turn the heat off!
In another pan, cook “stir fry” and let it cool down while you put boil pasta in the sauce you made, mix them and cook them on low heat for 5 more minutes untill pasta gets some colour of the sauce, now put the stir fry in it, cook for 1 more minute on low heat, take it off the heat!
There ya go! Thats how I cook pasta on weekends. Don’t laugh if you don’t like it, I discovered this myself, and it tastes & smells so….. nice… well, its kinda indian but still cool.
Try it!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm………………. And send me some 😀
