When I want to send file through MSN I can’t open A Shortcut folder, it sends the actual shortcut folder…
Does anyone know where the problem is?? I use windows Xp with Msn6.2
If you want to send a file or folder, it has to be the actual files or folders you want and not the shortcut of the file or folder. A shortcut is just a link to redirect you to the file/folder target. So you have to actually locate the files and/or folders you want and send them instead of a “shortcut”. Hopefully that made sense, especially if I understood your problem
NO, the problem is I want to open a shortcut folder, but instead of letting me open it, MSN messenger sends it…
Basically, you can’t navigate to another folder with a shortcut in the send file window; you MUST go to the location manually.
I ran into this problem a long time ago, too. I just had to deal with it and go directly to the folder the shortcut was pointing to. A shame, because Yahoo Messenger does it correctly but MSN does not.
