OK I bet a lot of you have kazaa or morpheus or some P2P download program. But why should you have to suffer the ads and popups in kazaa when you could use WinMX. WinMX is the same stuff, just with no spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. It’s actually faster because the adware takes too long to download. In kazaa it’s 75% adware, etc. and 25% bandwith for your downloading needs. The only bad thing is that you might not find what you need because not many people know about it. But it was rated #1 in it’s catagory in PC buyers magazine. If your interested, go to http://www.winmx.com
u DONT have 2 suffer all the annoying adds if u want kazaa.theres a program called kazaa lite that dosent have any adds or spyware or adware its just about the music

No, there is not any spyware (that is known of). Viruses and trojans? Trust me, they are there! But then you will find those almost anywhere… 🙁

Maybe not as many people use it (I don’t know), but there have been very few(rare) things that I could not find/get on WinMX. 😉
I use Kazaa Lite and it works perfectly. Usually for me, if I cannot find what I’m looking for with Kazaa, I will almost definately find it with Winmx!
i love Kazaa lite!! can u have skins on WinMX? i have it installed but havnt used it alot!! totally off the subject but does Plus! work with V6.0 yet

my brother uses kazaa and he really likes it. he uses it all the time! i would too cept my laptop doesnt have a cd burner 🙁

There is a free program out there that searches your computer for illegal spyware and other illegal programs put on your computer, when you download things. It is called spybot, you can check it out at this site http://security.kolla.de/index.php?lang=en&page=about
No, it is not something to hurt your computer, if you do not beleive go to the website and read all about the program, glad I found this program. Yes Kazaa lite does install spyware on your computer. Actually I was searching for Iwon.com spyware on my computer found it and found ones from other programs I had downloaded too.
There is anothere p2p sharing program called Kaaza but it cost money to join it.

Ok I know about Spybot S&D, but in the Kazaa licence agreement, you have to have the spyware. So if you remove the spyware, the licence isn’t good anymore, so the program’s gone. Anyways, the IRAA (International Registry of Artists and Artwork) is gonna start sewing people who download free music in the near future.
