I recently installed AIM 5.5, which has AIM Games that is powered by WildTangent. I uninstalled AIM 5.5 and installed AIM 5.2 but WildTangent still exists on my PC. I tried uninstalling it through the Control Panel–> Add/Remove Programs. When I try removing it, the Add/Remove Programs window just goes back to the top of the programs list and leaves WildTangent in the list. Does anybody know a way I can fix this?
Get Spybot – Search and Destroy see if that solves your problem.
If the Wildtangent Control Panel icon still appears in the Windows Control Panel, you may need to search your computer’s hard drive for any occurance of the files “wtcpl.dll” and “wtcpl.cpl” and remove it. This occassionally occurs when an older version of the Web driver was partially removed.

Thanks for the info. After I restarted my computer and went back into the Add/Remove Programs, it was still there. So, I double-clicked it and it told me that it had already been uninstalled and it was removed from the programs list. I still took both of your advice just in case it didn’t work.
