If I have a trillian skin, and make a smiley(emoticon), does my buddy see the smileys I make?(assume s/he doesn’t have that skin)
No, unless he/she has the skin and emotion set that you have made, they will not see it, they will see the emotions that he/she’s skin provides (if they are on Trillian) or regular AIM smileys.
