I currently use windows messenger Xp edition. THere are many people who use my computer and windows messenger continues to save all the email addresses used in a drop down bar on the sign on page. I dont like that whenever someone uses my PC they can see all the email addresses. I know there is a way to remove it, but is there a way to prevent windows messaging from storing it to begin with so I dont have to go through the hassle of removing them everytime?
hey dgagnon3201,
You say you know how to remove the individual email addresses, well, I believe you need to remove the Passport.Net* from the list and instead of just the individual addresses.
An easy way to do this: (type in red text)
Start > Run > control userpasswords2 > Advanced (tab) > Manage Passwords > “remove desired addresses, which in this case will be Passport.Net*”
Hopefully that was clear and made sense. And I think it should do what you ask.
