So, somehow I managed to lose this option on my WLM. For those not quite sure what I am referring to, if you right click the WLM icon in the system tray there is the sign in.. option and usually a sign in as “username” option, well for some reason that I have not been able to trace, that option for me has disappeared. Google searches have proven fruitless so I am hoping someone here can shed some light for me.
Welcome to the BBB Forums, Ailindah. Have you installed any 3rd party add-ons to WLM? If you have, uninstall them first and check to see whether the sign-in options appear in the systray icon.
If you have not installed any 3rd party add-ons, Mess Patch does provide an option for providing sign-in status in the WLM systray icon.
I know exactly what you are speaking of. Just for fun, I decided to try and make mine disappear. Unchecking the Remember Me box on the sign in screen did indeed remove the option from the system tray icon.
But the most interesting thing was, neither checking Remember Me again nor adding Remember My Password brought it back. It was not until I checked Sign In Automatically the option returned to my system tray icon.
Can you tell me if you have this option checked? I’m quite curious about this now.

It’s funny how it is always the simple things that fixes an issue. Check marking the “sign in automatically” option did indeed bring back the “sign in as ‘username'” option. Thanks for the help 🙂
