ParticipantHere’s a picture of a public toilet in Switzerland that’s made entirely out of one-way glass. No one can see you in there, but when you’re inside it looks like you’re sitting in a clear glass box. Question is… would you use it?

MemberI’ve seen these images not too long somewhere, I believe at another forum.
Would I use one? I don’t think so, because I wouldn’t want to be watching the traffic or anything else, while I do my business. 😀

ParticipantHey, that’s pretty cool. Ya know, i’ve seen that one-way glass stuff a police stations.
I think I would use it if I needed to, with the comfort of knowing that people couldn’t see you from the outside. But still, I think it would feel akward because it’s hard for your brain to comprehend that people can’t see you, because… well, YOU can see THEM.
They should have those things at the beach!
Imagine… watching the waves run over the smooth sand while you’re…. yeah. 😀July 14, 2004 at 9:27 pm #41701shifter
ParticipantDoes anyone else find it odd that they have toilets on the street corner? I mean wtf? Forget about the glass, I just wouldn’t risk having some erratic driver take me out whilst on the crapper. Well, at least with the glass you could see a driver coming and possibly dive out of the stall with your pants around your ankles in time to save your bare ass. But c’mon, what genius thought it would be a good idea to take your constitutional on the sidewalk??

MemberWell, it gives new use for street corners….I’d hate to think what would happen in there after hours. Would I use it to do my business? I think not, I have a bit of stage fright even in public bathrooms when there’s another woman in the next stall I don’t know. Just b/c they can’t see me….it would make much difference unless I was about to go on myself.

MemberWatch what you say about the Netherlands…I’m 1/4 Dutch-American! [:P] Besides, that just Amsterdam…and what would you have to talk about if there weren’t “those kind” of street corners there OR the “special” fountain 😀

Wow, that’s just screwed up dude, you are a pretty sick person.
As for myself, heck yeah, I can force my mind to understand two way glass. 😛

MemberI think it’s crazy to got to the toilet in a street corner. But when you are in one of those moments where you just got to go well then I think I would’nt mind the public aperance.
