well I am using Y! messenger 5.5.1254 with multi y! patch
now the problem is tht I log on to 2 ids simultaneously! now one ID receives proper notification of mails, the other doesnt… at the time of login it always shows me “1 new mail”, but when I login it has more thn one and sometimes, not even one
the “tiny bell” icon on Y! mess also shows one mail all the time…
the other ID is perfectly fine… any clues why thid happens and what is the solution!! this never happened before!!!Knowing how Yahoo! Messenger works underneath, the Y! Multi Patch shouldn’t affect this, as the e-mail notification comes in just as a normal packet, like an IM or a Chat one.
Does it matter which ID you log in first, or is one of them persistently wrong?
I have a similar problem with another ID of mine, and I don’t use any patch, but I always get incorrect notifications, and I see others with it too.
so is there any solution to this problem???
is this the problem with registry or wht???????
its driving me crazzzzzyyyyyyyy!!!!!!well I went to the Y! messenger help center and mailed them from there… Y! replied tht maybe some probs with server… and after a few days its fine… if any1 is facing the same probs… contact Y!
well yes Jeff… It works absolutely fine now… but I had to go thru the http://help.yahoo.com/messenger page
