Well i updated to 5.6 Yahoo Messenger and to find out Y Tunnel does not work with this version. Does any one know when Y tunnel will update there software for 5.6?
Indeed 5.6 isnt the greatest updated version of yahoo ever but i guess it’s allright if you like…. Not havin Y TUNNEL ERRRRR!
I doubt yahoo wants programs like ytunnel working, and wouldn’t surprise me if they purposely patched it. They did this in games with a nice program that a guy put a lot of work into and everyone who had it had paid for it. Yahoo makes a lot of money from their advertisements, yahoo isn’t just here for entertainment purposes, it’s a company that is here to make money. If ytunnel is patched with 5.6 then people can just resort back to 5.5, and i’m sure a new version of ytunnel will be out of it is patched with 5.6.
well what version are you using? I am using YTunnel Pro 1.2 Build 204 and from what I c on my screen it works with Yahoo Messenger 5.6 with no problems at all. It works the way its supposed to anyway. Dont know what is wrong with urs.

1. login yahoo messenger
2. click on login goto my profiles
3. click on edit my profiles
4. create a new profile on same account
5. restart yahoo messenger
6. click on ytunnelpro enable cloaking
7. click on chat at the top of the room list is your name click the drop down arrow and pick other name and enter chat
8. notice the name they see and the name you see are different cloaking keeps them from booting the actual main user on the account
9. Do not be stupid and give out the name you get pm’s on i hope this helps L.B.
