Can someone help me? Last night I went to log in to my yahoo mail and it said that my password was invalid (it did it with all of yahoo services)… I have never changed my password.. I went into the new password request form.. I put in my birthday and my zipcode, and it said that my information did not match for my id… I didnt use any fake birthday or fake zipcode when I made the account… And when i went to put in my alternate email address it said there was no id that matched that email address… I have contacted yahoo but they havnt sent me anything back yet. I’ve been looking at other posts about this type of situation, but Im not really finding any help, and I didnt click on a fake link or anything.. Also my friend said he saw me online yesterday during the day, but I was no where near a computer until late last night… What do I do, and How can I tell if someone hacked my account?

I guess it was hacked, but I got my account back… It only took 3 days, but I got it back emailing back and fourth with the Yahoo customer care. Whoever hacked my account didnt do anything to it but change the zip code… It was an Ohio zipcode and I live in Wisconsin… So I just thought you all would like an update.
Thank you very much for the update. That’s really interesting that some one would change your zipcode like that. Make sure that you scan your PC for nasties and THEN change your password. I’m glad you got your account back…too bad you cannot think of what might have happened to lose it…it would be interesting to find out how it was taken in the first place to make sure it does not happen again. 🙂
