MemberI was just wondering why my account would be deactivated? I play a lot of games in yahoo, I didnt play for a couple of days and I tried logging into my account and it said your password was locked and then a screen saying my account was deactivated. Any suggestions on why this would happen?

MemberLocked out of games?
Possible reasons for being banned:
A user or users made multiple, incorrect attempts to access account therefore causing it to be locked to stop entry.
You did something bad worth the deactivation.
If you use chat with that ID:
Posting a url such as http://www.555 or another banned URL.
Many are not deactivated, rather come back after about 48hours, you could try logging in at http://login.yahoo.com/config/login to see if it works. If it persists, perhaps contact Yahoo!: cc-advoc@yahoo-inc.com

As freddy pointed out repeated failed attempts to login to your account will cause the account to be locked down for security reasons. If you know your date of birth/zip code/country you can request a new password https://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot_pw?. If not then sorry but your account is gone.

Also for your own benefit you should not type out your present password even if it appears not to be working. -
