Could some one please advise me on what to do. My DELETE button as well as other buttons such as the MOVE button are not working.
I am unable to delete individual selected emails from my INBOX.
Your help would be greatly appreciated in solving this problem.

JerryIf it just started occuring I’d ignore it for a day or two then try to delete/move. Yahoo has a reputation for these “bugs” that work themselves out with a little patience.
On a side note, can you create a new folder in your inbox? At least try to see if you have any edit capabilities.
i am having the same problem as jerry. and it is very fustrating. I have tried to fix it assuming it is on my computer but so far nothing has worked. I have tried to contact yahoo through their help section several times but have not received any reply. so I have done what it is said never to do. I have given my password to someone else to see if the buttons on my yahoo account work on their computer. I am still awaiting a reply. a google search shows others have had this problem since the yahoo change also but for the most part, their problem is intermittant. mine seems to be continual.i understand the changes have been made because of google getting into the email factor. well, if this is yahoo’s way of being competitive by not answering problems or even acknowledging your request for some info on a problem then they can keep their new yahoo because I will go to google mail if this does not get resolved. I am thankful yahoo is not my only email at the present time.
Although I never encountered this problem but I am facing the other one that seems alike….sometimes I get a reply “Sorry we could not understand your request”, something like that, when I try to delete an opened email message….i would like to attach this problem with jerry’s & twistedprincess’ problem…can anyone explain why this happen? Why the servers at Yahoo do not recognize the commands, specially Delete command sometimes?????
Yeah..i think lots of people are encountering the problem. I am also, and it’s been the same for days. It was ever since they upgraded the yahoo mail, I reckon they should have left it all the same. Because its still stuffing up with the button things. I’m glad other people are having the same problem and its just not me.!
