MemberHi All,
I have been using since long time with yahoo MultiGold. But now i am facing yahoo login problem. When I provide user name and password, yahoo try to login. It does and then disconnect itself, again it tries and keep doing it several times. Sometime it connects and sometime it does not. And while connecting it utilises maximum CPU Usage.
I uninstall the yahoo and deleted all the directory. Downloaded a fresh one and installed it. But it has the same problem.
Onething i would like to mention here that I have ZoneAlarm installed on my machine and yahoo has been given full permission in ZoneAlarm’s ProgramControl.
Can any one suggest me a solution.
Thanks

MemberYes I did. But still it has the same problem. It connects then disconnects then again connects. It’s becoming irritating.
Thanks for your reply.

ParticipantHave you tried to login with a different id? Perhaps go make a new id and see if it will log in.

ParticipantRun it with the truvector engine totally off.
Zone alarm has a issue with removing bytes out of a yahoo packet and causes problems.
If you want a way to stop it…use a different firewall like Sygate.
I use Sygate Pro Beta
U can get it here http://www.computerbase.de/downloads/software/online-sicherheit/sygate_personal_firewall_pro/?url=1135
I got rid of the Zone alarm suite ages ago and it stopped cauing them issues.

MemberThere is an error somewhere other then in just your yahoo file. There are other files located on your system that get confused when you run multi messenger. There are instructions in this forum that tells you step by step how to clean out not only yahoo, but other files as well.
The problem is with multimessenger. If yahoo catches on that you may have had 3 names logged in at once, it’s chat banning you, but as you have sometimes been able to log in, then I don’t think that this is the case.
However, follow these steps and DON”T miss any just because you’ve already done that before. Do them all in order. AGAIN.
