Hi,
I was once in a chat room and I saw this dude with a cool nickname.
It was totally blank, that is it showed as blank characters in the chat room.
Any tips on how can we do that?
P.S.- His profile page had Yahoo Korea written on top.
when typing your name, hold down Alt, them while your holding it down, on your number pad, press 0, then 1, then 6, then 0.
P.S. make sure num lock is on.
ok I checked this 1 out and I dont think we got all the info to do it…tryed in mainland and also in korea. when I did it in mainland it made my nic name chat user lmao
right…:( I thought I got it.. but it shows chat user… :((
Hi,
I tried Alt+0161 on the Yahoo US site but I got “Identity has invalid characters.”
As for Yahoo Korea, when I try to go to http://kr.yahoo.com all I get is a blank screen even while it says “Done” in IE.
u may wanna read this thread it has alot of good info that might help https://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7048
Some1 post an example pls!
It was someone who took advantage of a kr members directory vulnerability, where the serv-side filter and web form were misconfigured. The most serious vulnerability of it, was you could use the kr web form to injection script into the third “cool link” of a Yahoo! profile, which would work on the U.S profiles network too. You had to have the URL location of the kr profiles edit profile page, which has since been taken offline by the Yahoo! security team. This vulnerability was present during 2003, and is now patched. I gather this is the same vulnerability used by the person with the blank nickname, from what you have described.
