I have windows XP Pro and I was using latest version of yahoo v 5.6. First let me say, new version is a DOWNGRADE not upgrade. Suddenly when I ran yahoo messenger my system rebooted.. i thought may bcz of some other prog.. but then it happens again … I re-install yahoo from web site.. this time windows crashes again.. my windows crashes 4 times!!!:eek:
Can anyone explain why it happened?? I’m usin v 5/0 now….
MSN RULES!!!Are you using Yahoo’s messenger or Yahoo’s chat? If your using Yahoo’s chat are you sing Java script or html to run the chat? If you had the same problema as I did where Yahoo chat would freeze my computer completely up and make me reboot, it was a conflict with the Yahoo Java and the Java I had on my computer, check to see what kind of Java your using. If all else fails try Sun Java. from their website. http://java.sun.com/ since alot of programs Microsoft has and to run some windows applications and programs, and other things on windows 98 or higher, microsoft does not have an updater for the java they put on windows anymore so they redirect you to sun java http://java.sun.com/
