Well, here’s my two cents…
It’s pointless. I couldn’t care less who is idle and for how long. Then again, I’m not exactly the type to IM people and start up a conversation (I suck at it really).
But, do as you want. I’ll be sure to let Yahoo know of this one too (about the potential to detect idle users without being on somebody’s buddy list). 😛
Actually, I don’t think you can detect idle status unless they are on your list.
But can you please close this thread? I want to stop the flaming and end this pointless bickering (like an adult). There is no longer any reason to continue the topic (it isn’t really that important of a topic anyways) and it will hopefully stop the bickering from others. It has gotten out of hand.
