Last night after receiving a email from Yahoo asking me to upgrade to YM 7.5 with Voice or to YM 8.0 BETA, I opted to upgrade to YM 7.5; the exact Version is 7.5.0.819. I did this from YM 7.0 with Voice.
My YM 7.0 was working perfectly. But this morning with YM 7.5 I had all kinds of problems, while chatting with a friend with broadband Internet access. I also have high spped DSL: My web cam froze; upon restart, and starting the voice chat, the Voice chat became unresponsive after a while; also some of my buddy list in YM do not show up in BOLD, for example the person I was chatting with never showed up in BOLD in my list of names.
Any one else having any such problems with YM 7.5? What can i do to eliminate such problems? Thanks.
Does this happen everytime? Is it still happening? (might be a server problem on yahoo’s end)
Also, maybe you should try 8.0 or since to me 7.5 was not the most stable build, you might even try going back to 7.0 where it did work and wait till 8 is a final build since for now 8.0 is still beta.
Sorry i can’t offer any better solutions but i skipped the 7.5 series when it seemed to give too many problems and am currently using 8.0. I had 7.0 before that and it never gave me problems and 8 hasn’t given me any so far either.
