DOnt know if anyone can help me here. Ever since I installed my router, I have been having problem keeping my cam steady when I am chatting with someone. On some days, it will work and on some other once i put the cam on, it does not last 30 seconds and the person i am chatting with says that my cam has frozen. I will reboot yahoo, restart the cam and reverted back 1356, yet the same thing happens..
Do you think there is a problem with my router (ie port forwarding) or maybe yahoo is just bering crazy…..?
Any help will be appreciated…
Thanks
I got nervous reading your post and went ahead and checked my own activity on webcam via YM. I had no problems at all (I just installed a router myself.) It might help to know what setting you went ahead and adjusted re: port forwarding. I have most everything disabled (with the DMZ to a non existent addy, just inside my range of potential IP addresses). I’m just a basic user in that respect – no gaming needs here. If we can’t find the answer here, try news.grc.techtalk. Those guys are mamzingly knowledgable – and helpful.
