hey blueball members i need some help i think i been a victim of a internet yahoo prank here is my problem im useing the new version of yahoo messeneger its been working fine up till today when i log it it never gets past connecting as wert406 thats my user name it just freezes or soemthing at the screen where it says connecting to yahoo as wert406 the screen right after i log my name on its pissing me off man cause it never did this before i can log on to msn and aim fine i tryed messing with the preference settings and **** and it still wont work somebody know anything about my problem help me please thats guys and girls it lets me log on to java and 2.0 fine through internet explorer
Try this, go to preferences, then connection and click no proxies if it’s not checked, if not try clicking use proxies. Are you behind a firewall by any chance? If so that could be the problem. If you are behind a firewall then check firewall with no proxies. I think It is just yahoo because you are able to log into java and 2.0 with no problem. If none of this works, maybe try going back to an older version of yahoo messenger.
