A lot’s changed since i last posted about y!mlite….
:new: Best Bot protection than any other client, when you fist run y!mlite type in /merge it downloads the latest bot signature off the y!mlite server so it automatically ignores known bots…
:new: Anti Booter routines placed in to make it stronger, since yahoo removed YCHT, y!mlite’s had to suffer the same exploit as all the other chat clients and that is, if you’re connected to yahoo, you’re bootable.
:new: HTTP resumable File Downloader added.
:new: Flag as bot feature, if a Bot is not caught by y!mlite, you right mouse click on the BOT > Flag As bot
:new: Double Click iggy, want to iggy someone fast, simply double click anywhere you see the ID in the chat room, even if it’s from someone elses emote, simply double click and they’re gone…
So much more i can’t even begin to explain it all here

To any y!mlite user who wises to test this build out, just type in /update
*You’ll find that you and any friends on y!mlite are able to post long setences now without yahoo cutting you off the 300 yahoo char cut off has been replaced for ymlite users for a 800 char sentence….
*Experimental Anti Boot routines, at the bottom of the login panel you’ll find space for a 2nd ID and Username….
Theory
………When the Chat client detects it’s being booted, it marks a flag called DCBooter, Y!mLite talks and gets all hyped up when it discovers a booter, it turns pms off, it disables certain packets to stop lag, it talks to you….
Some people can boot you, some people can’t.. depends on connection speed, one would say.
When Y!mLite’s connection gets finally d/ced by the booter, it knows it was d/ced with a booter, this is the clever part, Y!mLite then instantly logs in the second ID / username on the login panel…
So as your main Y!mLite ID gets booted, the second one joins the room to take over so you can still see the chat room and if it’s not the same ID with _2 on the end, chances are the booter would not even have noticed this second ID come in…
The Second ID becomes your “eyes”
The First ID got booted from Yahoo Pager(look closely at someone who’s been booted, they don’t leave the chat room)
Y!mLite then instructs you to Login again…
But this time y!mlite does not log you into a chat room, it logs you into yahoo messenger, then a few bits of data is exchanged with yahoo which then allows you to talk again on the yahoo ID which just got booted…
If they try and boot you again, fine, it knows, relogin and as soon as you type, that ID they just booted twice in a row is still talking… Effectively becoming bootproof, they can’t boot you from the chat room and stop you talking on yahoo messenger.. unbootable… but it does take a little bit to get used to…
the commands /eye and /free bring in the Second ID at any time /free logs out the ID from the room / messenger and returns normal operation to y!mlite…
Have a play with it.
And then the usual, normal yahoo chat client boring stuff..
*Skin upgrades
*Minor bug fixes
*Couple of String routines optimized in assembly.yada yada yada
