my friend has the Yo!! Im gettin this camara! piC virus ..
i haven’t been able to find a fix for it .. all the fixes are for realphx and the other one about the buddypicture or whatever .. is this virus the same? or is it different? does anyone kno how to get rid of it? please post!!!It is the W32.Spybot virus. Mods, I know this virus isn’t of the realphx essence, but could we maybe get a stick that proposes the most common fixes for profile viruses in AIM? Lately it seems that the AIM forum has been flooded with requests for profile virus help, and it also seems that most are linked to realphx.com and therefore easily removed.
jasyn, this is in no way a flame directed towards you. I thank you for reading other topics pertaining to this subject before posting, finally, someone who listens to what all of the extremely consistent (and seeminly ignored) mods — “Use search before you post!!!” [variations = infinity].

I’ve been thinking the same, but haven’t found the time yet to write a post about this. So, well, if would be so kind to write a new topic (or news article?) about this, with the fixes for the profile virus included of course, then I’ll gladly mark it as important. 🙂
Will you ever remove any of the sticky topics. They have been there a long time and are getting out of date. In a a few months the whole first page of the site will be devoted to sticky topics if you dont since the sticky topics have only been around for a few months.

1/4th of the page isn’t that much.
they are general information topic.. they should stay for new users to read or moved to the new user forum

Wet Dog500, for now I’ve removed the importantness from the “How to turn off IM forwarding for AIM Mobile” topic. There are only four important topics now, if you still think that that’s too much then you’re just gonna have to live with it. 🙂
